Big thanks to everyone who came along to the Community Fair or helped organise it. Nearly £1000 for church funds, £95 for nursery school in The Gambia, some money for the Girls Group to carry on with their activities and Richmond Fellowship, who use our halls, made enough for a Christmas party for all their groups and to take one of the groups out on a day trip sometime.
Plus a great sense of community as all these different groups who use the halls and members of the local crafting community all came together in our buildings, worked together and hopefully had a bit of fun on the way.
As part of the Community Fair on September 22nd, we will be running a car boot sale in the Fiscal’s car park next door to the Community Hall. The cost of a pitch at this is £6, and there are a limited number of spaces.
If anyone would like to take a pitch at the car boot sale, please phone the church office on 01389 734514. Please note that as the office is manned by volunteers when they are free, there is not always someone there to answer calls; however you can leave a message on the answering machine. Please leave a note of your name and telephone number, and someone will phone to confirm the details. It may take a few days but someone will be in touch with you as soon as possible after we get your message.
This is now available for download from the Multimedia Page.
