The Carer’s Centre will be holding a Halloween Costume Party on Friday 25th October at 6.30 pm in St Augustine’s Community Hall. Sppoktacular food, fun and prizes. Dress to impress. Bring your own bottle.

MacMillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning

St Patrick’s Church will be holding a coffee morning in St Augustine’s Community Hall and Church on Saturday 5th October.

Tea and coffee will be served in the hall, with a variety of stalls being set up in the church building itself. All money raised from this event will go to MacMillan Cancer Support.

Clydebank Male Voice Choir

The Clydebank Male Voice Choir will be performing at Dumbarton Baptist Church on Friday 11 October at 7.30 pm. The choir have performed around the country, at locations including Hampden Park, Murrayfield Stadium, Glasgow City Halls and Gleneagles hotel.

This fund-raising event will include an evening of entertainment, tea and coffee, home baking and the usual warm welcome. Tickets, costing £3.50, are available from McDermott’s in Dumbarton High street, Discography Records in the Bell Centre or at the door.

Theatre Night

Friends of St Augustine’s have organised another of their legendary theatre nights.

Come to the Community Hall in time to have your tea then walk round to the Denny Civic Theatre to see the production of “I Remember Mama”.

Cost is £8 (£7 with a Friend’s discount). All welcome.

Pat’s Ordination

The Revd. Pat Smith will be ordained at St Augustine’s SEC at 2 pm on 28th September. This is an important day for Pat and for the life of the congregation and it would be good to see as many of us as possible. In addition, Pat will celebrate her first Eucharist on Sunday 29th September at the 11 am service.
