Emergency Food Bank

As well as the West Dunbartonshire Council Food Share, which runs each Friday, we are trying to run an emergency food bank for those who are referred to us as being in desperate need at other times in the week. In order to maintain this service, we need a constant supply of food to hand out when required. A list of the type of food required is given below and there will be a large tub/box at the back of the church each week. Nobody is being asked to spend lots of money at a time. If people coming to the church can hand in just 1 item each week then this emergency food bank will work and we will be able to help all who come to our door. So please help if you can!

Men’s Retreat

Liam is hoping to organise a retreat for men in the late summer or early autumn. This will be an opportunity to get away from the hussle and bustle of life for a weekend. The theme, location, date and cost will be depend on numbers. If any men are interested in going along, or even just finding out more, then please talk to Liam.
