Thank you to everyone in Dumbarton and the surrounding community, businesses, community groups and individuals who has contributed so generously with their money, their gifts and their time to make this year’s Food For Thought and Christmas Dinner such a great success.
About 40 people came in on Christmas Day and had their dinner, more came in on Boxing Day and were fed and a huge number of families received gifts for their children (and for the adults too) as well as much needed food.
None of it would have been possible without the generosity of the people from this area so thank you all!
Big thanks to Caroline and her team of helpers who spent several hours today making up gift bags to give out to those in need at Christmas.
If you know of anyone who would like to come to the St Augustine’s Christmas Day dinner – one of the things which inspired the Food For Thought project – then please contact the church office on 734514
