Then come along to St Mungo’s community garden in Alexandria every Tuesday and Thursday from June 16th. The sessions will run from 11 am – 2 pm and everyone is welcome, regardless of age and gardening ability.
Come along to St Augustine’s church on Friday 19th June at 7.30 pm to hear music from the Allsorts (CAFU) Choir, Robert Ryan and many other local talents. This group of local musicians are getting together to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. Tea/coffee and a raffle available as well as the chance to enjoy the concert.

Bishop Gregor is visiting St Augustine’s and St Mungo’s on Wednesday 27th May. Starting at St Mungo’s for the 9.30 am midweek service, he’s then coming over to St Aug’s in time for coffee at 11. Then there will be lunch and a treasure hunt at St Mungo’s from 1-3.30 pm, followed by time for the Bishop to speak to the clergy team, have dinner and finish off the day with a social evening with both vestries. Please come along to some of these events!
Dumbarton Churches Together have organised a Songs of Praise evening in our church on Sunday 31st May at 7.30 pm.
Christian Aid week runs from May 10-17. Instead of a door-to-door collection, envelopes will be handed out at Sunday services on May 10th. If you want to contribute to this charity, then put some money in the envelope you are given and return it to the church.
The North-West Region of Glasgow and Galloway Diocese will be holding an Ascension Day service on Thursday 14th May at 7.30 pm. The service will take place at St Andrew’s, Park Road, Milngavie. All welcome.
Come along and join us on Friday 24th April at the Concord for the first of our Movies With A Message. We will be watching “Chronicles of Narnia – The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” then having a wee chat about the film and the hidden meanings and messages behind it over a cuppa.

The Christian Aid Lent Lunches are now running every Thursday until March 26th from 12 noon until 1.30 pm. A plate of home made soup, bread, cheese and either tea or coffee is available for £3.

Kenny and Liz are looking for people who might be interested in exploring the possibility of setting up a small pastoral care team covering both St Augustine’s and St Mungo’s. This might involve some visiting and perhaps taking Holy Communion to those who are housebound.
